Question 2cm dialated, is this normal?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if it's normal to be 2cms dialated when you have given birth before?

I don't know exactly how common it is, but I know it can happen. A friend of mine was 3cm dilated at 34wks and stayed that way until she was 10days overdue with her third. Bubs was also engaged right down low into the pelvis too the whole time, so when she went, it was mighty quick LOL.

I was 3 cm dilated at 41 +1 weeks with my last PG. But I'd never previously had an internal during the PG so I really don't know how long I was that dilated for. It could have been all the pre labour I had in the few days prior that did it.

Once you have had a baby your cervix never closes completely so to be a little dilated is normal

A friend of mine with your exact due date has been 2 cm dilated since 28 weeks. Apart from lots of Bh's all seems to be going well. Her baby is growing fine although the MW seems to think she will go into labour within the next 2 weeks
