I'm 33wks with my 3rd baby, she's riding low and big. My first was cs @ 38.5wk 9lb 12oz my second was cs at 37.5 wks 10lb. No diabetes, for the first two I have hypertension, & lots of fluid but that's about as eventful as it got.
For the last few days I have had irregular menstrual like pain in my lower abdomen, a frequent urge to pee & poop without much success at either, some uncomfortable crampy-ish pain around the top of my abdomen and flue like symptoms. Also intermittently felt like throwing up with a headache that comes and goes.
And out of no where I have lost all my energy and did myself in a foul, grumpy and hormonal place.
Phoned my ob who didn't think much of it, just said go to the labour ward if I have a show or contractions otherwise just sit and wait. He's right, but I just can't shake the feeling that something's not quiet right.
Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? Were you considered a risk for pre-eclampsia with the other two (considering the history of hypertension and fluid?)
I agree it sounds a bit concerning. I would be going to get checked out to check for blood pressure, protein in urine etc.
You might just have a flu bug that is messing up your digestive system too, but if you can access a medical opinion I would go.
I would advise a visit to a doctor or midwife too. It could just be a bug of some sort, or even just normal pregnancy stuff, but several of those symptoms are pre eclampsia symptoms.
