3d scans in Ballarat or Bendigo?

Getting a bit ahead of myself, but has anyone had 3d scans done in Ballarat or Bendigo yet? I think Lake Imaging do them but has anyone been there yet? What prices? Thanks all!

I don't know of any in those areas, but if you want to travel into the city (and maybe make a day trip of it) I would very highly recommend 'Early Image' in Prahran. They are amazing there. We had my son's 4D scan there and it was magical. We then made the mistake of going elsewhere for our daughter (it was a bit cheaper and slightly closer) and were bitterly disappointed with the entire experience. We went back to Early Image a couple of weeks ago with this pregnancy and had another amazing experience with them.

Early Image have a beautiful room that they use. It's huge and has 3 couches in there for guests. There is a massive screen on the wall where everyone can see it. Event he bed that you lay on is large and plush. It was great for me because I have pelvic instability that plays up when I am laying flat on harder surfaces. Then plush bed gave me no trouble at all. During the scan they lower the lights and play the music that you have chosen for the dvd. The sonographers I have had have both been fantastic. This time around bub had hands over the face at first, but she got me to move around on the bed, and do a few different things to get bub's hands to move, and we ended up with amazing video footage and pictures (63 photos!). After the scan they have a lovely huge room full of toys for kids that you wait in for about 10 minutes while they finalise your dvd and photo cd. They try super hard to make sure you get a good scan too. There was a couple there before us that had been in and bub was in a bad position. They got them to have a drink and go for a walk, but even after that bub was still in a bad position for pics, so they did my scan and afterwards they were actually getting the lady to lay down with an ice pack to encourage bub to move. So they were spending an extraordinary amount of time trying to get this couple the best view of their baby possible.

It's not exactly cheap because you can't claim anything back, but we paid $275 and it was totally worth it

Oh, and if you go on their website, on their main front page they have special offers for "last minute" appointments they have available at discounted prices. It also mentions getting a free showbag, but everyone gets that anyway

EDIT: Lol, just thinking that maybe I should get paid for advertising, hehehe.
