Well I have just had the worst sleep - or non-sleep if you like - gggrrrr. I know this is to be expected but it wasn't because I was going to the toilet. I could NOT get comfortable and everytime I rolled over my hands would get pins and needles straight away.
Has this happened to anyone?
Also this morning and last night with most things I ate I felt like I had foil in my teeth- everything tastes metallic - eeewww!!!
hi there im the same, i cant sleep, get numb hands and pins and needles in my feet especially if i get up to go to the toilet which is just about all the time! we are on the home stretch now! you will get there!
The pins and needles in your hands could be pregnancy based carpel tunnel syndrome. You can ask your health care provider about it when you see them.. Its always worst in bed causing regular sufferers horrific sleep patterns. My DH and brother were/are both woken up every 2 hours with no feeling in their hands which with a bit of time went to paraesthesia before coming good and letting them get back to sleep.
The metallic taste is fairly normal too sadly. Its called dysgeusia and is believed to be caused by estrogen fluctuations during pg. You can try and expel it with strong sour/citrus foods or foods soaked in vinager (pickles! Ice cream not recommended in winter!)
Yes it's soooo annoying isn't it? I toss & turn all night.
Though for me personally I'm finding the reflux harder to deal with. The last couple of nights I've slept practically sitting up.
