Mucus Plug

Can people who have experienced the loss of their plug tell me what it looks like and the texture it has been? I don't want to gross people out by going right into detail but I think I have started losing mine so not sure if this is good or bad considering I am 31 weeks tomorrow?? So I just want to hear some other stories and see if I possibly am losing mine. I am probably just being paranoid though.

I think it varies from person to person, but mine with my first two pregnancies was a big clear glob that was thick and had the consistency of jelly. Lots of women start to lose their plug early on, it just keeps replenishes itself

I don't know why but I have been losing snotty CM for weeks now. Its just constantly regenerating though so no worries there. Would probably help if baby didn't attack the cervix daily. Doubtless another reason DH thinks I'll go early. *sigh* Dr isn't worried though so I will go with him! You can too! They say we get an increase in discharge in the third anyway.
