25% of babies are breech at 32 weeks, it drops to 4% at full term.
My little girl spun at 33 weeks, I did lots of floor scrubbing and bum in the air.

Thats good about your fluid. I didn't know that about the supposed link between breech bubs and birth defect?? My DD had a birth defect, another reason she was deliverd at 34 weeks. She had a defect in her abdominal wall, which resulted in her bowels being outside of her body. No known cause.
I reckon your bub will move. There's still plenty of time! Good luck!

My last baby was breech at 35 weeks, he behaved himself and was head down at birth![]()
I was a breech baby born via CS and I didn't/don't have any defects........that I'm aware of anyway ;-)
My DD2 was head down at the beginning then turned breech until about 36 weeks. I was stressed but my midwife told me to relax and we ended up with a 2 hr labour and a water birth. I did a lot of crawling because my first DD was born full OP. If you are really worried I strongly suggest making the time to do the positions the Spinning Babies website suggestx
I only read it in a google search re the defects. I am not sure if she has turned yet - i feel kicks and movement all over the place, am having acupuncture next week, the day before seeing my midwife. So will know then! I loved the turn baby turn, disco in utero! Classic.
I worked with a guy who had a baby with intestines growing on the outside - and was in ore of their strength that got them thru such a painfully agonizing wait to see that their bub was going to be ok in the end - and he was. So I admire your strength also, such an inspiring story.
Hi Ladies,
Thanks so much for all your support - good newsbubby is head down, low and ready to go (well, hopefully not before 6 weeks time). Such a relief to know she is doing all the right things already. To those whos baby hasn't turned, knees on the edge of an arm chair or couch and arms on the floor for as long as you can hold it - worked for me.

Yay for a head down bub, FWIW my DD1 was footling breech, no defect in site
They do suggest they have a higher risk of hip issues but she was cleared of all that.
At a scan at 36 weeks 5 days, one of my twins was breech and the other was transverse under my rib cage.
On the day of delivery at 37 weeks 4 days, when we arrived at the hospital and I was checked both boys were breech and when they were delivered (by c/s) 1 1/2 hours later both came out head first. So even with limited space (my belly was measuring 52 weeks on the day of delivery) my guys still managed to turn the correct way up - or down if you prefer - to be born.
Great to hear bub has turned!
Yay!!! That's awesome news![]()
