Does it kind of feel like a bruise when is soft? I had one spot DS dug his feet into constantly and that was tender to touch - was on a thread in here somewhere will look it up when not on phone.
This might sound a bit weird, but I've noticed there is one point on my stomach where it feels like the baby is trying to push its way put out!
The area gets really hard and once it's soft, it's tender to touch.
It's not regular as such, but I've noticed it probably 5-6 times since I got home 2 hours ago.
The baby moves a ridiculous amount, so I don't know if it's just pushing on a certain point.
Bit of a silly question, but any feedback would be appreciated!!

When I get a BH the right side of my uterus always pushes out. It's not the baby, it's the uterus going rock hard (in my case). Apparently the uterus naturally leans forward and towards the right slightly so my BH accentuates this. My baby moving is an entirely different sensation. For one even if she does push out in one spot it's never static or still- there is always a sense of movement even if it's super slow.
It may be that the baby's bottom and back are against one side of your uterus (very common at this stage) so when you have a braxton hicks contraction the butt and back are pushed more tightly against that area and it feels really hard. After a while it can make that area quite tender to touch. When everything is relaxed can you feel your bub's back/head/butt? The butt and head can feel quite similar, lol. Don't be afraid to push quite hard on your tummy, you'll hurt yourself before you hurt bub. I love pushing bits of the baby around. I feel like I'm already interacting with the baby when I play with it's feet and arms. My huge tummy muscle separation makes it easier to feel body bits because there's one less layer to feel through![]()
Thanks ladies.
I still can't tell what is going on!!
From my last scan (only on Friday), bub is head down, body up my left side and legs to the lower right - where I feel all the kicks. This particular point is right next to my belly button - could be a hand or a heel I suppose.
WYSIWYG, yeah it does feel like a bruise. Even now, it's not happening, but that spot still feels tender.
When it happens, that part of my belly goes rock hard and sticks out so I have an odd shaped tummy.
Thanks for your replies xo
Here is the thread I mentioned - not sure is actually any help but you never know

this baby has been doing that too!!
DS though used to do this stretching thing, with his head down, and spine along my stomach - he'd stretch right out, then do a slow roll from one side to the other, so it was like he was stretching/kneading my tummy the whole way across ... and then he'd relax again ... is it anything like that?
