oooooooohhhhhhh how i hated this part of pregnancy - i use to get so "damp" down there that I ended up in hospital several times (let's just say they knew me by 1st name when I called - lol) thinking that i was leaking.

It's all pretty normal and i truely believe it has to do with the way your'e carrying the baby - that's my opnion anyway - i ended up using pads and praying alot that i wasn't indeed leaking - lol - i'm hoping that pregnancy no.2 will be easier

Cass, I have been feeling like that too so I went out and got a really big box of liners!
My midwife told me to smell it and if it doesnt smell like wee or discharge, it may be waters leaking a little bit.
She said some people reckon it smells a bit like sperm.

Can someone tell me the implications of possible hindwater leaking? After reading this I think I might have had a leak a few months ago which has since subsided... bubs is still going strong.

I can vouch for this too unforunately. I seem to sweat a lot down there too?! Oh the joys. People must think it very strange, a very obviously pregnant woman buying panty liners at the supermarket! I don't remember having this problem when pg with DS so I am glad I found your post *sigh of relief, it's 'normal''!

    Yep - I'm the same!

Mother goose - If you think you leaked a few months ago I would say it must have resealed (I'm pretty sure that can happen) Also if everythings ok with bubba now I wouldn't stress...

Ummm leaking waters are more like water too I think whereas the other can be a bit more slippery iykwim??
Hmm - I would defnitely agree if I remember correctly that like Karina said it's a bit of a spermy funny smell. Hehe. Definitely something distinct anyway and different from the norm....

I have it too, & in this heat im sure the "smell" just gets worse!! Its just another wonderful thing about being pg!! -
Jessica - i hear you with the sweating! LOL
I know when my waters broke with my DD i HAD to wear "super pads", not liners, they wernt absorbent enough.

Thanks Kris. I was only concerned because of the "sperm" smell but the leak was never anything severe and its apperance was CM like which is why I never gave it another thought!

I hear you ladies about the slippriness and the extra sweat at the moment. I was so moist the other day (mind you it was 42 degrees!) I was convinced my waters had broken!

A hindwater leak usually seals itself and if it does then there is no problem. The water is replaced quite quickly

I know what you are all talking about ladies, the increase in sweating, discharge etc. I guess it's preparing us the it's not too far away!!
