Just wanted to share out of frustration - it may give you all a laugh at any rate.
My poor baby addled brain has completely lost the ability to function - let alone multi task. All I can say is thank goodness I work from home online and can avoid the general public by and large - they wouldn't know what hit them.
This weeks highlights:
Emergency shopping (NOTHING in the house so had to do it on my own). In the one trip it took 4 hrs to make a list (all 26 items) and 1 1/2 hrs to actually do the Aldi / Woolies shop that came to 3 bags only. I also managed to forget the trolley 3 times (walking around with stuff thinking - why don't I have a trolley) and loose it once (poor guy in pharmacy was concerned about me). I forgot where i parked the car. Needless to say I was a very sore and sad lady when I returned.
Washing Nightmare. DH informs me last night that there is a BBQ tonight and we should go - sure I say all I have to do is wash the one going out maternity outfit I have but that should be easy. Its all going well, I put the load on, didn't over fill the machine or anything silly. As I go to put it in the tumble dryer I realised I forgot to was my bra, not a big deal I just have one though so now I have to had wash it. BUT in the very last bundle put into the dryer I see dangling from its cord the VERY expensive wireless headset my kid brother saved up for to "make his pregnant sister happy". I've washed the darn thing. I just want to cry Who knows if it will every work again, i'm hoping like mad that after it has dried out fully it should be right.
So there it is, thoes are just the big baby brain highlights. Recently I just find everything I try do goes a little bit wrong, I just can't win
Whats really funny is that I have to in the next week make all the really important decisions with the OBS about what I want for the birth etc. Who's idea was it to wait till my brain decided to stop functioning before asking thoes questions. All I can think to say is "invent teleportation, I don't want to be there thankyou very much".
Well there you go, I hope the rest of you are doing better. I swear that I was at one point in my life an energetic, lively, intelligent woman in charge of her own destiny.
