    Baby Engagement

Does baby being engaged early mean that he or she will come early? Or does it mean nothing? My little one has been engaged for weeks now and the midwives say they cannot move his/her head at all and any further down and he'll/she'll fall out.. Can this stay like that for another 3 weeks?

Don't know, both girls where early, but one was engaged, and the other was breech.

DD was engaged at 35 weeks. Was born on 39 + 2. I think they can stay engaged for quite awhile being first baby. Good luck.

DD1 was engaged from 32 weeks. She was born at 37+5weeks. DD2 was engaged from 36 weeks, she was born at 40 weeks. So unfortunately, being engaged does not mean they will come any earlier.

My bub was engaged at 24 weeks (2/5ths over brim) and was born at 42 weeks! He literally felt like he was about to fall out!!
