baby hiccuping is there anything to worry about??

I know im probably worrying over nothing as i am a worry wort and i know if im worried i should see my doctor but shes on holidays and i dont want to go to the hospital just to ask this question,is it normal for the baby to have so many hiccups?im 31 weeks pregnant and every since last friday, everyday the baby has had the hiccups so i looked it up in my book it says its normal unless they are frequent and if you notice less fetal activity.so since im such a worrier im worried now,i havent felt the baby move as much today, but yet i havent felt it even had the hiccups today either. It said in my book(and when i googled it)It can be normal and can also be a sign of the cord around the neck!!How on earth are you supposed to know whats classed as normal hiccups and something wrong?then i read too that if the cord is wrapped, they wont do anything anyway, does anyone know if this is true?and is it normal to have so many hiccups all of a sudden? Thanks so much i need advice!!

Very normal to have the hiccups and to worry as well! Isabelle had the hiccups a few times a day when I was pg with her usually after I ate dinner!! James did too but not as frequently. SHe literally had them every day! Funny thing was she would get them at night when she was born as well! Bubs have quiet day with movements too but if you are worried about that maybe call your carers. If you lie on the couch, have an icy cold drink it will usually stir bub up and reassure you!!

My DD also had the hiccups multiple times a day during the third trimester. Hiccups alone aren't anything to be worried about...

Some one on BB told me that its just bubs practicing breathing and that made me feel comforted know that the baby was doing a good thing.

Yup both of mine have been constant hiccupers.. and the only thing ever said to me is that it means bubs is very healthy.

Dunno how true that is, but both of mine are ok!!

In utero they drink so much amnio fluid, that makes them hiccup!

My little monkey has the hiccups at least 3 times a day, usually when I'm trying to go to sleep or waking up

    Nothing to worry about hun.

We have them multiple time a day here too. So did Darcy. When she was born it took a few weeks for her not to get them a few times a day lol.

Loads of hiccups here too, everyday atleast once per day. There is so much to worry about but if you are ever unsure of anything always check it out. Best of luck

My DD used to get the hiccups constantly in the womb. It has only been recently that she stopped getting them every day

Liberty got the hiccups at least 5 times a day in my belly and if she smiles or laughs too much she gets the hiccups now, it's absolutely adorable!!

Hiccups are like tiny movements that a rythmic. Jazz got the hiccups CONSTANTLY (and still does! hehehe) and it felt like continuous tapping.
