    baby moving around

ok so i know i have posted a question similar to this before but i was just wondering..when your baby engages do they just stay in this position till labour?? or do they still move around a little..im not really expecting my bub to be down yet im still getting movements everywhere.. i was just wanting to know if once they are down if the movement settles down?

you should feel movement everyday...or at least i did with my other 2 kids...im currently 34 weeks and still getting heaps of movement, bubs is head down but not yet engaged. my daughter was still moving when i went into labour...if you are unsure check with your doc/midwife.

    Hey Tasha,

As the baby engages, it is still able to move left to right and back. The head will be in the same sort of position but it can ie lie on its right or left hand side. (or in the middle). The movements will be come less but have to be at least 10 times a day. It will be more like shifting into a different position instead of bouncing and kicking.

    HTH!

For me, my bub was head down at week 32. She still moves around a lot these days and is very active throughout the day. So, for your bub, s/he may be still moving a lot....

my baby's head is 4/5 station and i still feel plenty of movement.. more of a rolling around sensation rather than kicking.. its kinda hard to explain.. but like the other ladies have said, you should still expect a minimum of 10 good movements per day...

I was told yesterday that my Bubs head is really low down and I am only 32 weeks. Does that mean you might go early? I still get lots of movement by the way. I got the impression from my Ob that I might go early. I am sure he mentioned something about that. I have pregnancy brain lately! He's asked me to go off RLT too.

Bindy, did he give a reason for going off RLT?

I don't think he really believes in it at all. He mentioned there is a lot of hype these days about what you should/shouldn't do during pregnancy, I do agree sometimes there are. Like my Mum has said "nothing like that was around when I had you four and I had no problems!" LOL.

It's my choice whether to take it or not but he believes you should just trust your body and let it all happen naturally. If I choose to take it, he would prefer if I took it from 36 weeks as that is a bit later. I did experience more BHC since taking it but I might just stay off it for now

Doesn't hurt to take it if it might help right? But some women it helps and some don't notice any difference, probably just personal choice really.
