Question Baby's position - and hiccups

I'm pretty hopeless at working out what position my bub is in, but I'm wondering if where I can feel his hiccups might be a give away. I've been feeling his hiccups really low down, and was wondering if where I feel hiccups would be the most likely position of his head and/or chest.

At my last check-up bubs was breech, but I'm hoping he may have turned and that's why I'm feeling these hiccups so low down.

Any other good tips on working out what position bub is in would be appreciated too.

    Hi

My baby is head down and I feel the hiccups really low so i would presume that you feel it where the head is or close to the chest. Bubs has probably turned!

Today the hiccups aren't so low down. Last night they felt right in my pelvic area, today they've been about half way up my belly on the left side. Make up your mind bub - mummy wants you head down please!

I've given on the hiccups trying to give me an indication of where bubs is - they're all over the place, and bub can't have that much room left to move.
I am still trying to work out bubs position though... I get most of my big movement up high - not under my ribs, but very close to my ribs. There's a definite big bump up high, but I can't work out if this is the head or butt. I do get some pressure on one of my hips (usually my right hip bone), and sometimes get more tickly movements down low. So, from that, where does it sound like bub might be?

I think it sounds like Bubs is head down hun.

The movements you described are similar to the ones I feel and my scan today confirmed bubs was head down.

Do you have a midwife appointment soon? they are normally so experienced that they can feel with their hands the position bubs is in.

Your movements sound like mine so I reckon bubs is head down. As well as the bulge up the top can you feel firmness down that side where the back is??
I can feel the bum and back but never the head.

I hope he's head down! Yeah, I can tell that bub is lying down my right side - my belly just seems firmer on that side. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow, but since bub was breech last time I've been trying to work out which way he's lying. I'd love to be able to work it out as easily as the midwives do!
