Just wondering if anyone thinks they can feel their BH 'working' for them? Or has experienced this happening?
I have had a couple of weeks now with some really random patterns...one day nothing at all, other days I will have hours of uncomfortable BH. The other night they came from 4pm to 6am and some were uncomfortable enough to wake me up. I got up...and they went away
Sometimes particularly with the good ones, I feel pressure down below .. I don't know how better to describe it. It's not constant, comes & goes mostly with the BH. Also at times I feel a tingly, or tickly feeling in the same area which is unrelated to BH.
Do you think they could be working already even if I'm not in labour? I haven't had a VE at any of my antenatal appts so have no idea if I'm dilated or effaced...I have not asked because I figure with bub no.4, it doesn't really matter...right?
but...it would be nice to think things are happening even if very gradually... I am hoping to VBAC this bub & need to avoid induction
I have gone over with all the others..was hoping this one would be different but unless these BH amp up I don't think it will be, and atm they are far too random for me to get excited about.
Also, bub is not engaged yet - I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything again given that this is bub4 - but sometimes I could swear she feels lower and the pressure down there becomes uncomfortable, also it's almost like I can feel her shoulders resting on my hips - I really hope this isn't the case though because that would mean she has massive shoulders ...
I haven't experienced this before so i'm a bit puzzled as to what it is, whether its' just her moving about or if she's trying to 'get down'?
Well, with only 6 days to go it possible could be the start of things to come! I was induced with both my bubs, so cant really comment on your 'feelings', but I hope for your sake it happens soon. Good Luck!
What do I think? I think you are likely to have a baby before me at this rate, Jasp. LOL. I do swear that I know that some of these contractions I have gone through have "changed the playing field" so to speak. I am sure I am at some point of dilation now. I don't know why, its just a feeling I have. However I am terrified to walk into the hospital and be told its only a couple of cms, lol.
Inertia I had been wondering how you were going. Are you still leaking? You will beat me yet I think you are a week over & I am not yet due...The thing is you have been having whopping contrax, right? Whereas mine come & go with no rhyme or reason.
I totally get you about not wanting to go into hossy (not that I am anywhere near that point) I was thinking about asking at the docs today to see if I was dilated at all, to test my theory but I don't really want to go through that just to be told 1-2 cm, which would really mean nothing..now 3 or 4 cm, that would be interesting
It's just really odd feelings that I haven't expereinced before. Who knows, could be my imagination
yes Bh do stuff to your body..
after your first child your cervix never completely closes again so yes you would be dialated some.
engagemnet well you know that can happen in labour..
