    Smile A bit of a laugh .....

Okay ladies just wondered how big your bump actually got or currently is.

I decided on Monday (when I turned 30 weeks) to measure my belly and am going to do so each week going forward to have a laugh at just how big it actually gets by the time bub is born. As i KNOW it has quite a bit to go yet!

I don't know what it started out at but measuring accross belly button I am currently 105cm! What does yours measure? I don't appear to have put on that much weight (yet) only about 6 1/2 Kg but think I probably dropped weight in the begining due to not drinking and eating healthily.

Wld love to hear what your measurements are?

You know, I haven't actually measured mine yet! When I find a tape measure, I will and come back and post my results! I started the pregnancy at 59kgs, lost 3kgs from the first trimester (nausea, you know, the usual culprit) and I'm now up to 72kgs... so I have put on 13kgs and feeling every bit of that extra weight!

I found photos and looking sideways in the mirror a great tool...I used to measure my bump until it was just too cold to wrap a cold measuring tape around my tummy! I'd look at myself sideways in a reflection and think oh my I look HUGE!! Not that I was ever gigantically big as I'm only a small build anyway, but just looking at the bump from another perspective, rather than looking down on it made a huge difference!

I measured 42 inches (106cm) at 36 weeks. That's an increase of about 10 inches (25cm) for me.

    Hiya,
I'm just over 36 wks and am up to 108 cm (42.5")girth now, pre preg I was 71 cm (28") 37cm increase so far and have put on 10kg (was 60).
My last pregnancies I put on 16 and 15 kg for each so this time I'm all belly. If I get told I'm "such a compact package" one more time I'm going to scream!!! I feel as huge a a house.

    Cheers Missy

    Wow quite varied results.

Will have to see how I go ... OB did mention at last visit that he was coming to conclusion that baby would be on the larger size of average rather than smaller. Will know more as am having another scan at 32 weeks for low lying placenta.

Have started to take piccies also CheezleMonster and agree will be amazing to really see the changes each week.

LOL! At least your being told your compact, I'm feeling more and more like a house! And I'm now 29wks! BAH!
People keep saying to me either 'Your huge for only xwks!' or 'Are you sure there's only one in there?!' YES! OF COURSE I AM!
Still need to measure mine! I do know though, I've put on 13kgs already! Started at 59kgs, dropped to 56kgs and from last weighin (Obs appt last Monday) am at 72 and a half kgs and feeling every single extra kilo on me too!

My starting weight was 78 kilo. Im 175 cms tall.

At 18 weeks i was only 79 kilo, which was weird, as i only put on one kilo in the first 18 weeks !!!

HOWEVER...I am now about 86 kilo and im 27 weeks....

Its amazing how much ive ballooned in the last 2 months

My fiance is only 5 foot 4, and weighs only 55 kilo....so im hoping to god that its a smaller baby....but then again, my height and weight will probably even it out to an average sized baby lol

I was almost 10 pound as a baby
