    Question Bloody Show

I think i've had another bloody show...?

I woke up at 5am to pee, wiped and the toilet paper was covered in blood. I kept wiping until i thought it was all gone.

I've now gone to the toilet 3 more times (now i seem to have the runs) and there is more blood.

Is that normal in a show or should i be contacting the hospital?

Is it just blood or blood and mucus? I would probably call just to be safe.

Good luck! Sounds like not long to go now.

Give the hospital a call, just to be on the safe side.

Either way you should call the hospital and get everything checked.

    Hope all is ok!

I just called and she said there can be quite a bit of blood present on wiping if the cervix is changing. Ive been told to monitor it for half an hour and if i have a pad with a fair bit of blood on it to come in. But she seems to think its normal.

Sounds like things are moving along, LMS... time to start stalking for your BA!! Have you had any contractions?? I hope you don't have to wait too much longer to hold your beautiful bub in your arms. Wishing you a beautiful birth when the time comes.

Thanks. I'm having the usual period type pains which seem to be stronger than the ones ive had but seem familiar to the ones i had after my show in labour with DD. I'm expecting any minute now for the contractions to start in my back like they did with her too. I'm just pottering around, considering going for a walk soon see if i can ramp up the contractions.

I'm still having the bleeding which seems to have changed to mucousy so feeling much better. Haven't yet called the hospital back but i don't think i have much to tell that isn't considered normal.

With DS2 it was very bright red blood with a lot of mucous most of the time. Sometimes it seemed more bloody than anything, so all sounds good!! Looking forward to hearing your BA!!
