    Clicking Noise from your Tummy??????

O.K. before you all think that I have lost my mind, I want you to hear me out.
Over the last 4 days I have heard on 4 different occasions a clicking sound coming from my belly. The best way to describe it is like the sound your elbow or your ankle makes when it cracks. Well it is very similiar to this but its alot softer, and it only happens once, and I must mention when it has happened I haven't been doing anything, just lying down or sitting. One time it happened twice in a row but then nothing. It's really bizarre as I don't know what it could be from. The only thing I can think of is maybe it could be a muscle or ligament but a clicking noise, just sounds far fetched to me.
Has anyone else heard of this before or had it happen to them before? If not, I'm curious to what you think it might be. Or you can just tell me I'm loosing my mind

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe someone else has this!!! I had the exact same thing in the last trimester and my OB said he'd never ever heard of it before and just put it down to ligaments and stuff stretching in there. I usually heard it when i was relaxing and baby would move. It is obviously perfectly safe and normal a my DS is perfect, so don't worry, but its really cool that im not the only one who felt that!

Goodluck with the rest of your pg!

So I'm not going out of my mind either!!

3 times now when laying in bed and bubby has been doing his or her version of river dancing, I have definitely heard a clicking noise - and it's happened at the moment that it's felt like bubby has slammed its little feet together!!!!!!!! It has definitely NOT sounded like the noise has come from me - and once I had my hand over the legs & feet movement when the noise happened and it definitely felt like the noise came from bubby......................I'm still going to ask my ob about it tomorrow though!!

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I saw this post!!!!!!!

    Wow,

I just told DH that you had a clicking noise and he had visions of a little baby clicking it's fingers with a slow jazz beat in the background.

Heh, I was talking to someone the other day who is around 38 wks pregnant, and she was hearing the clicking noise too, I had no idea what it was and her midwife wasn't very helpful, she had no idea either! Sounds like it's normal though
