BP 172/99 - time to call someone?

    Hi All

    Me again.

Still losing yellow bits LOL (oops tmi sorry)...last one yesterday was stringy and gross.

BP just after waking this morning (7am) feeling a bit headachey and sick in the belly was 171/94. I thought ''hmm...I'll just lay down and relax a bit and take it again. I don't trust that''.

    10 mins later lying down - 172/99.

Time to call Maternal Fetal Assessment like they said to?

Last reading before bed last night was 162/92...was lying down, just before I went to bed at 2am. Took it becuase I was puffy in the hands but felt okay otherwise.

I'm really ignorant about these things and have a tendency not to do what Drs say becuase I hate being an inconvenience. Because for every doctor's time I waste, there is someone who needs them more than me! So I feel bad when I call them. There are women out there who need Maternal Assessment becuase they are actually having babies...I am just confused about my BP!

Hope to hear that all is well ...

Last hourly reading was 156/87...so no, haven't called. The one before that was 177/104 so it's gone down by heaps now.

    Short answer - yes!!!!!

Slightly longer answer - puffiness, headache and high BP is more than enough cues to send you to the hospital. Go get checked. You are not wasting anyones time
