Cool Braxton Hicks contraction How'd they feel for you?

i'm sitting here wondering if i'm having BH's!

i cant say i feel my belly getting tight as such, it kinda tingles a little (not in a way to worry me though) and im wondering if its BH's or just bubs moving around. if they are BH - yay for me i never felt them with my last pg so i had nooo idea what any one was on about when they talked about them

so what did they feel like for you?

With DD1 & DD2 they were just soft tightenings of the belly that would come and go throughout the day/night. They never hurt as such and I barely had to take pain relief. With this pregnancy, they hurt, a lot. I regularly have to take either pain relief or have a hot shower to ease them.

I started feeling mine faily early on with my last pg, about 16ish weeks I think. Early in the pg they were just tightenings. My tummy would go hard for a few seconds and would make it kinda hard to do stuff like bend or move too much. They usually only came when I was exerting myself too much. Later on they slowly started to get painful and quite ouchy regularly and like Kim, I was in labour and didn't realise it because I just thought it was my BH! Luckily I got to hossy when I was 8cm dialated! I just went in for some pain relief so I could sleep, lol!

Mine were also like tightening, it would almost feel like my belly was 'drawing up' for want of a better description, and it would go quite hard and tight. DH used to be able to feel the difference, they were never too uncomfortable, just enough to know it was happening. Some days I'd have lots, and then sometimes a break for a few days or maybe just one or two.

Mine have been just like this too - I never had any with my first pregnancy.

Mine feel just like my belly goes really tight, then relaxes a few minutes later. Always leaves me needing to pee & I do have to stop through them, but they don't hurt.

Belly goes hard like a rock, then releases and the baby kicks me furiously as if to say "what the hell was THAT for"
