    Carrying high or low

So I guess most of us have heard the myths about if your carrying high its a girl and if your carrying low then its a boy...so who here is carrying high or low? and is there anyone that can prove these wrong

Ive always carried high - ' i just swallowed a basketball' - kind of look. Ive got 3 girls. Dont know what this baby is....but im carrying the same......

I dont believe it. I cant see how a doodle makes a difference to how your belly looks - but thats JMO.

My girlfriend had a baby boy last year - she was the 'high round basketball' type too.....

Yeah I cant see how it would make a difference, i find it quite funny that alot of people go "oh your carrying high it's a girl" etc. I personally have not had that but have had people say it to my friends when they have been pregnant.

I am carrying so high that everything under my belly button is SSSSSOOOOOO jelly and wobbly. Quite disturbing really!

Apparently this is a girl, but we shall see. The sonographer was 90% sure but that was at 20 weeks.

I was carrying high and it was a girl but I think it is just an old wives tale! How you are carrying probably depends more on your body shape and things like that, I would think.

Angelaartsstudent - I'm also slightly disturbed about all my wobbly bits below the belly!! Everything else is rock hard!

I am also carrying very high. Everyone keeps saying "oooh that means a boy", but I'm still kinda hoping for a girl anyway (but I tell everyone who asks about sex, that as long as its a human baby, I'll be happy). As a biologist, I am positive there is no physiological reason why we should carry one sex 'higher' than the other. Old wives tale for sure

I'm 'high' and its a girl. Honestly though I can't tell the difference.

I wonder what they say about twins - boy and girl. "Oh, you're carrying all over the place"?
    LOL

    Lol.

Yeah it's all rubbish most likely!

I must admit though I am mighty uncomfortable today. Am sitting here meant to be doing uni assignments but it's so uncomfortable sitting down becuase baby is in my ribs.

I much prefer walking around...at least then gravity makes it come out of my ribcage a little!

I am also still told my bump is rather small for my gestation.

As for me I have no idea if I am carrying low or high or if I am big or small for how far along I am...
