Roast question!
Hi Guys!
I'm on my own this Xmas with fiance in the UK, so need to go to my brains trust here on Bellly Belly with this question! LOL!
I am doing a lamb roast. Is it safe for me to put the vegies - the pumpkin, potato and sweet potato - into the same dish as the lamb?
I usually let the roast cook substantially first, then for the final 90 mins or so, I add the vegies.
Is this safe? Are there cross-contamination issues at all?
Thanks so much!

It'll be fine. The meat will be cooked anyway so if meat juices get into the veggies it will be fine I assume. I never cook a roast any other way...it saves washing up another tray and makes the veg taste super good!
