    Clary Sage Oil

    Hey everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has heard of burning Clary Sage Oil in an oil burner to bring on labour? I'm due Tuesday but I'm fed up with being pregnant and I'm trying all the natural ways to bring on labour - so far with no luck!

Nat, I have heard of using as a massage oil and rubbing it into your stomach to try to encourage labour.

A friend of mine told me to also try burning geranium oil to help induce labor.
I tried it, didn't work for me, but she swore by it for both her pregnancies

I have heard about using Clary Sage oil for massage while in labour, and I don't think you are supposed to use it during the earlier stages of pregnancy as it can bring on labour. I know Aromababy have a massage oil for labour that contains Clary Sage, but the only place i have been able to find it is online.

You can do both, oil burner and massage. Just make sure you use it in a base oil for massage, like sweet almond oil or even just olive oil. It's supposed to enhance contractions.
