Does your cervix dialate when you have Braxton hicks?

Dr told me at 28w4d my cervix was only 2cm (the average is 4-5cm) and lately I have been havin stronger tighter and slightly achey Braxton hocks contractions and am thinking I may also be dilating which may lead to another early bub
