Unhappy constant braxtons and moody as hell

this isnt really a question more of a whinge.... i've been having constant braxton hicks since saturday night after i went for a walk with a friend to try to bring on labour. Anyway i get them all day everyday and even tho they r painless most of the time they are starting to drive me crazy!!! anyone else have this??
besides a constant tight stomach my moods today have been absolutely horrible!! worse than normal (i have no patience in pregnancy!) the slightest little thing goes wrong and i go off.... my poor hubby and son!

Yeah I had them towards the end of jacob about 4 weeks leading up they go more and more tighter and tighter..... and they drove me nuts!! the moods I didnt notice as much cause I didnt have another child to look after.... But I dare say I might be just like you towards the end of this one! Even tonight I said to DH..." I want my body back to myself!" hehe...

Sounds like you are not far away now but!!
Good luck with the labour and hope all goes well!

You poor thing! I was lucky not to have pain at all before my waters broke buy my SIL has had them for abot 3 weeks and still no bub. She's EXTREMELY moody! Don't blame her really cause she's in quite a bit of pain with nothing actually happening. Hope it all happens soon for you.

Me too! Me too! I've been getting them for weeks and keep thinking something surely must be happening but no! This is number 3 for me and it's the worse it's been! I don't ever think I've ever been this grumpy or emotional either... I feel so bad for my girls having to put up with a Mummy from hell! All I can say is Bring on the Birth!!!!!! Goodluck!

Nell, are you drinking RLT ?? Perhaps you could be over doing it. Just a thought.

With my last bub I had shocking BHs from around 20 weeks onwards. Towards the end I would sit there some nights contracting off and on for 2 - 3 hours. would drive me mad wondering if this was it or not.

Hoping for you that thes BH's turn into real contractions very soon for you hun. In the mean time know that they are doing some good for your body and at this stage probably your cervix too

I'll add my sympathies too - feeling the same way myself. And I've still got 3 weeks to go. The BH have started to feel like PMS, (which is a good sign, really, but much more tiring and miserable to live with!) the hips HURT like crazy, especially in bed, can't sleep worth anything, just want this baby OUT. But then maybe not - what about getting up at night for nursing and diaper changes, what about colicky baby (had one - terrible!), what about cracked, sore bleeding nipples and thrush, what about lochia forever, what about, what about having to carry this baby and not having my hands free for my other DDs, etc, etc,
    Can't win.
But we won't stay pregnant forever, and eventually we will get to meet these little ones, and have our bodies back. Sort of. Here's hoping it's sooner rather than later!
