contractions every 1/2 hour

Hi ladies, my contractions started every 1/2 hour from 11pm last night.
They lasted until 10.30 am this morning, now I have no pains what so ever? I drank 1liter of water do you think it may have been dehydration? I'm 40 + weeks
i also had a show again this morning

It sound fairly normal, which is a good thing, but also very frustrating I know!! I'm going to say that absolutely last thing you want to hear, but lots of pre-labour is very normal and your bodies way of 'warming up' before established labour! Try to stay relaxed and rested, and use the time when you have 'pre-labour' contractions to workout the best way to deal with them so that when they start coming ery close together you'll have ways to deal with that. hope it isn't too much longer. I do know how frustrating it is though, pre-labour went on for WEEKS for me. At least you know you aren't too far away now

no still here, the stopping for 2 hours then started again every 10 mins

this is very frustrating for you i know but i think its all normal!!!!!! just the waiting game is a killer hey !!! all the best .
