Hi everyone well im still here I posted yesterday about possible leakage of course after I posted absolutely nothing:redface:. NO more leakage of any kind, no pain, no nothing:rolleyes:, so I still dont know
Now however I am awake with quite painful bh, again its this stitch feeling with the hardening but its definotely coming in waves 3 in the last half hour.. again not getting hopes up as have already had 2 major bowel movement (tmi)....but the bub has also gone significantly quiet, not my usual wake up mum stretch under the ribs...so maybe I wasnt imagining it yesterday :o
Ok plan of action I am going to assume that it could be and take some panadol, if its prelabour rubbish that should kill it....having another one now....yikes is it normal to just get the pain down oneside? maybe thats where bub is laying?? And i'll start counting, dd is still in bed thank goodness.
Keep you posted ...."feel like the pregnant lady that cried baby!!" ;)

Ali - It is definitely a possibility that you, I and Lis all end up in hossy on Monday!!!
Flygirl - Good luck and best wishes - thinking of you!!! I am finding this time terrifying too...but you know you will come out the other side (so the speak) and you will be saying it was worth it!
Lis - This could be it!!! Here's hoping for you - I don't think I had contractions down 1 side but everyone is different. Can't believe DD is still asleep at 7am! My DS woke at 6am this am and that was a big sleep in...
ATM - Well, we have been sleep deprived here because DS has had massive temp the last couple of days - so DH and I have been taking shifts at night to get some sleep! What timing!!!! Can't believe it. Willing and begging bubs to get moving...but nothing!!
-
Yesterday i had regular pains , something felt different to me , i thought this was it ..over night they stopped, now just the p pains again
Bugger this Im going back to bed lol
Hope all you ladies are feeling ok and something, anything is happening for u
-
Lis sounds pretty happening, no idea if this is 'it' but if not, pretty serious prelabour!
Mum2W I don't know how you do it with a sick toddler!
Shel, i hear you on the going back to bed plan! I can't believe your ticker tells me you're over 39 weeks, I had always felt like you're WEEKS behind me when I've posted in your threads (eg your thread about cravings from months and months ago!). And now you've effectively caught up!! Sigh!
I had a lovely massage yesterday evening at home, a woman came around with a massage table. She did some swedish, reflexology, and reiki for 1.5 hours. It was pretty wonderful and really we tried to deal with the emotional blockages I might be feeling which are discouraging labour from kicking off. I am totally comfy with being pregnant, having a little 'scooby' wiggling inside, but still don't feel 'ready' to have a baby, to be a mum! So while she was doing the reiki i was really awash with emotions, and this saying came into my head, "My son is a Pisces"... I just kept repeating this to myself, and after a while other phrases, "My son was born in February", "My son is the best thing that ever happened to me"... etc etc. It was quite amazing, I really have never fantasised or dreamt about being a mum and this was the first time I"d had these thoughts. Probably very hard to believe for some of you, I know that some people dream of being a mum from when they're a little girl - not me. SO! I need to quickly build on these emotions and be sure that this young man knows that he's welcome and he should start his final journey to life at his earliest possible convenience!
-
Lis- I'm not going to say 'this isn't it' to you just in case i get proven wrong. Very excited for you though! Sounds promising!
Alib- It's great that you have such a relaxing time to start mentally welcoming your bub. Some ladies are so hectic right up until labour that when bubs comes it is a very big suprise and they find they havn't mentally siked themsleves up for it and have trouble when coming home. The fact that you are really thinking and expecting bub to be here means you will be much more ready to welcome him into your arms. Just remind yourself that after all your TTC, your little man is almost here and it was all worth it!
Belly rubs for all the ladies!!

Just to bore with an update......panadol worked still gettng bh but not the pain, have had another massive clear out eeeeww and now have a massive amount of pressure on lower back  here is hoping this is something significant cos if I have another 2 weeks of this I am going to go crazy..:wall:
DH is coming home, think he was looking for an excuse for an early fri and that beautiful child of mine has just had an epic breakdown, so is now back in bed.....at this stage in the pregnancy I do not have the patience to ignore high decibel screaming....i just need distance  Im kind of looking forward to 2 days in hospital away from everyone...is that wrong:redface:
Hope you are all looking good
-
Not bad at all! You'll need that quite time in hospital to bond with bubs anyway so take it and don't feel guilty at all!!!
DH keeps looking fo me to go into labour soon as I think he wants some time off work too!!! LOL not like its going to be a hoilday or anything!!!
-
hahaha same hear my man keeps saying oh god i cant wait for the two weeks that im having off ,and i am like do u understand how hectic it is going to be so full on!! its not going to be a holiday ,u will be bringing home a tired sore mummy abd a crying scared new born lol
Ali you are doing so well, dont feel bad for feeling the way u do, like jelly said , this is great that u have this time tp prepare and think about things to come , a lot of women dont get that..even me iv always wanted a bub always knew i would have one, but it only hit me a few weeks ago that this was real i was having one and my emotions went around the bend , i was a mess , and i had a lot of time to think about it all and what it means to me and prepare myself for thios huge change, even though yes it is a very welcomed change it still is a massive change that will change our lives forever .i needed that meltdown lol and now i am so ready and so cant wait to meet my little girl.
I am glad u have had this time for yourself .
Lis i hope things are still coming along for you.. dont feel bad about wanting some time out i dont know how anyone does it with a toddler ,it would be crazy hard.. so take that time out in hossy just for u and the bub:)
-
Lis - I definitely know what you mean about patience levels with the toddler!!! It is like patience just went out of the window!!!!
I hope that your pains actually do come to something for you!
Ali - Glad you had that amazing experience in preparing for bubs. No matter what anyone told me when pregnant the first time, it was impossible to prepare for bubs really! Even this time, I still feel somewhat confused!
Shel - hope you are getting some rest!
Jelly -hubbys just don't really get it!!! I keep trying to prepare my hubby for having toddler all on his own when I am in hossy. But he has rallied his sister and mother around him to help out...I keep saying that DS needs his Dad when Mum is away. He even texted a mate about the start of the new Austag footy season which starts Tuesday night and said I was being induced Monday but could make the first game on Tuesday...I said who is going to look after DS????? He will be in bed asleep or need to be bathing and being put to bed....His response was - Oh, Mum could come around!!!! Little does he know DS is going to probably be spacking out - because I have only ever not put him to bed once in his life when we went to a wedding and I was home by 10pm for when he woke in the night!! Ah, hubby you just don't get it!!!
DS is at childcare so I am off to watch a DVD - probably last day ever (well for a few years) that I will have to myself!!!
-
Hi ladies how you all doing?
I am still here and going on strike......kiss of death was phoning the hospital....seriously what was I thinking :shakehead: Midwife said it all sounded promising and that this one may not need inducing.....but hey what do they know:rolleyes:................Im just gutted cos I really thought yesterday was the day, I havent had the full on contractions for hours on end before, but they never turned into anything regular and then fizzled out.
Fingers crossed M2W and Ali B you have 48hours to get moving - time to scrub some floors:p
Something I want to mention I had a 2nd degree tear with dd and its starting to itch, like its getting ready but hey just another sign of nothing ggggrrrrrr:protest:
Shell we are nearly there....at least that is something;)
Everybody find a trampoline quick:happyforyou:

Hi girls!!!
Well, thought it might have been it last night...early evening had a lot of downward pressure and period pain. At 7pm contractions started and were every 7-10mins until 8.45pm. Then I said to hubby - I think bubs just backed up the truck!!! She moved - saw the bump go upwards and pressure relieved in pelvis. Then not another contraction!
She really doesn't like the smallest contractions! Can't believe it...and now it think she has disengaged again! Fingers crossed she doesn't turn prosterior now!
Looks like 5pm Sunday night will be my first trip to hossy! One more night at home for me...
So cleaned the house this morning...will restock the fridge again this afternoon and do my ironing for the suitcase again!!
Sorry to hear your contractions fizzled too Lis! So frustrating, isn't it!
Labour vibes to all!
-
Ironing M2W??? Jeez your keen. I dont do ironing.
Well I am still in one piece and not a happy chappy. No niggles or anymore contractions and it sux!
This waiting thing is just poos and I swear the next person who rings to say "oh your home, havent you had her yet?" I am gonna reach down the phone and cheerfully throttle them!!!
Can you tell im in the angry had enough driving my family insane stage??
-
The insane phase must be the close phase!!!! I feel it with you!
-
I have not been allowed to iron since i was ironing the shirt i wanted to wear so there fore not wearing one and i was going at it to hard lol and made a big burn on my big pregnant belly near my belly button:(
DF does not allow me to iron aymore
Ladies i send out good vibes for you and hope that something happened before induction time
My bubs has engaged even more says MW today, but nothing else new to add, same pains same feelings just nothing that lasts .
'
And All-boys i hear u on that, i have mum and my MIL at me 'oh must be soon now' any day now' it will be this week and u with have a little baby''
Um no next week is my due date ,does not mean the little one will come then..I feel so under the clock , i know thats how u all feel as well, its an awful feeling isnt it
-
Omg I did that to my belly too shell! Ouch!
-
Yeah Shell, i hear ya! As much as i would love him to come early, i really don't think he will and everyone around me is like "Oh no, he'll def be born before so-n-so date""any day now" etc. It kinda gives me the ****s because it makes the waitng harder when everyone around is holding thier breath. LOL :)
-
Girls - take it from me and adjust your minds to after your due date!!! So much easier...I did that with DS and the end didn't drag as much...but with this bub...(due to GD) I was told I wouldn't go over 39 weeks, then let me go to due date, then let me go two days over, now going in this afternoon!!! Two weeks later than I ever expected!
So probably won't hear from me for a while...going into hossy at 5pm to get cerdivil (however spelt) and induced in the am.
-
Good luck today M2W and AliB, i am doubtful to be joining you tomorrow but I did clean yesterday just in case and slept like a baby last night. We are going out for lunch again today as a last treat (did this yesterday as well:p). And have decided that today we are going to sit down and finally decide on some names....well whats the rush hey.
Might try and have sex this avo....I decided against it yesterday but what the hell right, we all have to make our sacrifices  Next appointment is Tues if nothing else and Im not going to leave until I have had an internal and an induction date. If nothing else I am holding on to just needing the Cervadil to induce and not the drip as that was the killer :shakehead:
I agree with M2W start thinking of your due date as the maximum your hossie will let you over, mine is a week wednesday....cmon baby you can do it.
