Hi. I'm new to this forum, but not forums in general, in fact I moderate at another unrelated one.

Wish I'd seen this one a little earlier in my pregnancy, it would have been nice to chat to other ladies and hear how they have coped.

I'm right at the end of my pregnancy and am really getting keen for it all to be over. This is my 4th pregnancy, my last child was born 10 years ago by c-section. I'm having a VBAC this time and feel a little nervous about it, but still looking forward to the big event.

I'm feeling so restless at the moment. Rather sore and have a little bit of pressure in my pelvis. No real contractions yet though. I get BH and my stomach hardens but it's not exactly painful. I've had rather high blood pressure lately, between 135 and 140 over 80 and three times had readings as high as 158. My ankles and hands are rather swollen, but there is no protine in my samples. I saw the (GP) doc (I have shared care GP and OB alternate) and he was concerned but not alarmed. I see the OB tomorrow so hopefully he will be able to tell me more. He's rather relaxed about everything though. Nothing seemed to worry him much last time even though the midwife who checks my bloodpressure, weight and sample was a bit. I just want to get my bub out and safely here. Wish labour would start. LOL

We'll see what happens tomorrow.
