could this be the start of my pre-labour??

After having a great pregnancy & to date no real signs of any pre-labour, about 40-60 minute ago I have started having lower back pain & tummy pain, nothing unbearable, just like the start of a period when you can feel it coming.

I have been wandering around the house to see if it continued, which it has, although if it is pre-labour then I guess it will just stay with me & I could go to bed.....

I was due Wednesday 11th. This is my first. I haven't lost my plug or had any BH whatsoever so if there is anyone that's still up at this time, let me know what you think.

I think I might be right but its always nice to have someone elses opinion.

Labour vibes to all who are currenly expecting!!

This could very well be it dear but perhaps you should try to get some rest as things might take a while and this may be your last opportunity to rest......

Are you timing the contractions, how far apart are they ??

    Good Luck

Oooh sounds good, although it could take a few days to go from pre-labour to real labour. I had pre-labour for three weeks (ugh! but I was 4 cm by that time so...) Fingers crossed and labour vibes to you

Joel's girl - I wouldn't really have called them contractions more like the start of period pain. I did decide to go to bed though, given it was pretty late.

I think this is the start of things though. Saram - lets hope they dont go on for three wks, I dont think the OB would give me that long.

Just have to wait & see.
