Deep heat and other similar products are not recommended for use during pg. As for the RLT, I can't help you with that one but there have been other threads about it that may be of help.

I found two threads about RLT too

    www.bellybelly.com.au/forums/showthread.php?t=33132
    and

another thing, you could just use a hot water bottle if you have backache or anything instead of the deep heat.

I was not sure myself so I checked it in a book on drugs that is used in most hospitals (Mims) and it has not been gien a category for use in pregnancy (a,b,c, etc) so I presumed that it was ok. If it says not to use it ont the box then dont use it. I will try to do ome research on it in the next few days

    Hi Girls
OK I can’t find any decent research on deep heat. There is nothing to say that it is not safe to use but there is nothing to say that it is safe to use. So I would suggest that at the moment don’t use it unless you have to. Try a hot pack instead.
