Today I've had pretty bad pain in my innner thighs. Mainly the right one. Every now and then I get a shooting sort of a pain then it aches for a bit before subsiding. I had it a couple of times yesterday but today it's been worse.
I had shooting pains down my inner thigh on one side but sometimes both, late through my 3rd trimester. Her head was quite low and it was pushing on a particular nerve.
I can remember turning ever so slightly and the pain was excrutiating, sometimes my leg almost buckled under me the pain was so bad.
That continued right up until she was born! Then nothing - it was her creating the problem!
It sounds the same as what you are having, nerve pain basically.
It is not nice......but it is not abnormal.
