    Does Panadol/Panadeine Work during Labour?

I came across a post that mentioned taking Panadol to ease pain during early labour. Does it really work? It didn't even cross my mind when I had DD.

I had some panadeine forte during the first few hours of labour as the middy told me over the phone to take it and try to get some sleep. I guess it took the edge off slightly but it didn't really help & I didn't get any sleep. I'd still get your hands on some if you can.

It didn't help me with DS1's labour.

I was given 2 panadeine forte at the hospy to help me sleep, I was having prelabour pains, I think I got maybe 2 hrs sleep before the cxs were waking me again! took the edge off but thats about it!
