with my first at around 37-38weeks? i felt a grinding pain and i noticed later my belly was slightly lower
but i dont remember it happening wit my daughter
right now ive got more pressure on my hips, pelvis, groin and bladder and feeling with my hands he feels low but im not sure if im feeling right or if his just sitting low cause his my 3rd???
if he has dropped do babies move back up or do they tend to stay low
and sitting so low this early could it mean he will born earlier or makes no difference??
Hi Mummy
Don’t worry about your baby dropping, it makes no difference. I have known many women whose baby did not drop until labour started. Also your baby can drop into position and then move back up again.
Hi MummyOfTerrors.. My DS 'dropped' into position at 24 weeks and was 3/5 over the brim at 25 weeks. There was a bit of a concern that I would go into labour early as I was having strong and regular BH at the time also and I had a threatened prem labour at 29 weeks with my DD. DS decided to stay put and grow right down low in my pelvis (which was mighty uncomfortable!) and he wasn't born until 42 weeks! He was engaged for the whole 16 weeks.
Goodluck. I hope for your hips sake that your baby decides to float back out of your pelvis!
thanks girls xoxox
i know my daughter 24hrs prior to birth wasnt in my pelvis she kept sliding her head in and out which didnt hurt and she was born naturally
im hoping this bubs floats out cause the pressure isnt nice
only reason im concerned is extra pressure bringing on early labour but fingers crossed he stays put xoxo
