    eaten somthing 'bad'

hi i had a large hot chocolate at home this morning (made only with milk) then later in the day i had a cup of tea, this tasted a little funny, now i have just had another cup of tea and the same funny taste......

I got DH to taste the milk (which i dont think he really did) and i smelt it and it does smell 'off' to me. the use by date is not till the 1st Aug!

Now im stressing that i have got listeria or somthing, ive had loose motion this morning, although they have been going that way for a few days now. so maybe it was somthing i ate a while ago? have some tummy pains and headach

I hate this stressing about what i eat esp when bubs is on a quiet day

You can get a test. If you are really concerned go see a Dr. Or better yet contact Nurse on call (I would do this first!)

Pasteurised milk is safe though - do you have a temp?

Sorry Hun no advice, just no how much it sucks when you think you've eaten something bad. I think that with everything I eat! Eating when pregnant is tough. If you are really concerned you can get a test.

I wouldn't worry at all - I cannot have any milk in my tea when pregnant - I know the taste you are talking about it is foul! And milk always smells off to me when pregnant too.

I think it is just your preg playing tricks on your olfactory

Yep the milk would have been pasturised so the listeria risk isn't really a concern. I guess the most likely thing would be a bit of an upset tummy from the milk, but that shouldn't cause your little one any concern. Hope you continue to stay well.
