Is there such a thing as elective induction?

i.e. i elect that at 37 weeks i'm ready for the baby to come. because i am seriously so over this it's not funny. everyone is saying 'oh it's not long now, but i'm really strugging to cope'. obviously I don't want to put the baby in danger but i'd like to bring it forward so i'm slightly less insane
