yes it was very scary i felt it go right to my elbow and my arm ached for hours after
i called the MW at the hossy and they said that it should be fine as it was not a major shock, and as bubby was still moving that it was ok, and just to monitor her movements
Glad that you're ok! I received an electric shock at work ( that knocked me out and threw me to the floor!) when I was 12 weeks along!
Luckily, everything was ok but I did head to the hospital to get checked out and monitored for a few hours before i could relax!
It can be pretty scary stuff, so again, glad everything is ok - i guess you cant iron anymore! It just wants to attack you! Best that your partner does the ironing! Lol!
I always, always ring " NURSE ON CALL ", a 24hour health advice hotline (i'm sure it's available for ALL states in Australia) ... and it's a FREE SERVICE
These nurse on the phone are fantastic and friendly and they DO help you with information and what to do, etc ...
I've rung them for DD in the past when there have been little accidents and myself recently when i had severe chest pains at 5am in the morning !!
************* Here's a tip - Keep the phone number on the fridge
