    Erratic movements

Ok so I'm 33 wks pregnant and my little darling has been doing this for a while now.

I may be over reacting but it's starting to bother me.

I'll be lying on the couch or in bed and all of a sudden she will kick up a fuss and shake like a crazy person!! maybe 6 little shakes in a row and then stop. Then do some of her more normal feeling pokes and prods to go back to a random shake 1 min or so later.
I am only comparing this to my last pregnancy and my son never did this. It has even woken me up sometimes. It's mainly when I'm lying down. I thought it might have been because she didn't like the position i was lying in or something....I don't know but I'm a worry wort and I'm freaking out that she is having a fit or something.
Have any of you had these type of movements?

Sorry I can't help you, didn't want to read and not reply.

I think if you have any concerns you should definitely get a check and voice your concerns to your caregiver.

    Thanks Rosey.

I did check with my midwife, should have mentioned that sorry. She didn't seem too fussed.

Could it be hiccups? My dd used to get them all the time and my whole belly would shake rhythmically for about ten seconds then it would stop and often start again.

    Ds never really got them.

I have been getting this too. Mainly at night when I go to bed. Last night I was lying on my side and it felt like she was in there jumping on a pogo stick! And it's just out of nowhere, weird. Haven't mentioned it to my OB, but I thought the same as you. Like a mini seizure!

I had similar a few weeks ago and it ended in me having a panic attack as I was so scared. I called the hospital and they told me it was all ok and normal. They tend to worry more if baby isn't moving.

No it's not hiccups as she gets the alllll the time and I know what they feel like.
Same here Tasha. mainly at night. Yes TT40, kind of like a shiver. I also thought maybe similar to a muscle spasam or like her leg is cought in something and she's trying to get free of it cause it's annoying her. Oh I just can't wait till she's born. So over all the worry about every little thing. It's tiring!!

    Erratic movements

Maybe it's the wee babes nervous system developing?

Movements are always a worry, too much... Not enough... Weird movements. Hugs.

It is normal. I cant remember what it was but I have read of lots of people (I have a feeling, maybe even myself once or twice) having it and baby is absolutely fine.

Mine does it too, he seems to get super excited about something and play rolly poly for a while, he seems otherwise healthy though! I figure he's just entertaining himself in there!

My boy was doing the same thing the other week, at night after laying for a while. I thought it was muscle spasms.

I'm getting this too! Never had it with my son, but he was a lot more physical in general whereas this little lady is fairly quiet and just has bursts of movements (including the weird shaking thing).
