Fibroids and baby is not dropping into my pelvis

I am a little concerned, as at my last Ob appointment I was told that baby is not dropping down into my pelvis. I have fibroids, and the Dr thinks that these are getting in the way so scheduled another u/s to have a look...or baby is too big... I am getting concerned, yet the Dr is not yet scheduling a caesar. Should I be raising this? I would like some plans in place as I get closer, and have to think through what is going to happen. I live 2 hours from the hosp so a scheduled c-section would alleviate a lot of worry for me. What week should baby be engaging/moving into the pelvis?

Try not to worry. When you have the u/s then you'll have a clearer picture. As for bub being too big, this is actually not usual (doc told me that) as our bodies make babies we can birth. I'm only small and Elijah was my biggest at 8 pound 4 but a wise lady told me before his birth that it's not the size of the baby but the head you need to think about as that's the biggest part. It was true and I focused on that instead.
