    Is fear normal?

Ok - I'm scared, not of the birth but of what could go wrong before I even get to the birth.

I'm only 29wks and for the past few days have had an overwhelming feeling that I need to wash everything up and put the car seat in the car! I know logically that I have plenty of time to do this (and it is prob just nesting), but I just feel that something is going to go wrong and Tex is going to arrive early!

After all we have gone through to get this far I am so scared of losing our little one now.

Is this just a normal reaction to getting close?

I was just like that too. Everything had to be clean, I think I washed everything that could possibly be washed in and around my house while I was pregnant just in case. I think it's normal.

Farmgirl- i so know how you feel. It is almost like because we are almost there we don't want anything to screw it up. I think once we all made it past the 20 week mark we felt a little sigh of relief. Yet, now as I get closer I also have fear. Fear that something could happen to baby before birth. i believe it is normal as we are becoming more protective of our little one inside us. I would suggest concentrating on happy things, like working on nursery. And no it is not bad to put the car seat in early. I did it at 30 weeks!
