    feeling nauseaus at 38 weeks

    Hi there

im currently approx 37.5 - 38 weeks (dr unsure of dates) and as of last week have been feeling a bit off. a morning shower seems to shake the feeling but yesterday just kept on feeling sick and i ended up vomiting!

rang the midwife at hospital and she said just keep liquids up. baby has been still moving so im not stressed about that (am going to the dr thisafternoon to be safe though). just wanting to know if anyone else who has recently had a bub or is about to pop is feeling like this. is this a sign that labour is soon??? or is that wishful thinking?

also been getting cramping in belly if i bend over or sit in certain chairs (not braxton hicks). anyone else feeling this?

Hi Brewnetta, wow not long until you'll be cuddling your little bubba!

Yes I felt nauseous in the last weeks of my pregnancy, my doc told me it was my hormones changing getting ready for labour, and it didn't get any better until DD was born sorry.

Put your feet up and get some rest while you can now!

I found sucking on musk lifesavers helped, nmaybe it was the sugar? I've heard fruit tingles can help nausea too - might be worth a try??? They're yummy regardless!

Yup I'm in the same boat too! I just figured it was MS coming back - it feels exactly the same as it did earlier in the pregnancy.

Hi, yes I had the same problem in my second pregnancy satrted at 32 weeks, he came early thankgoodness and in my last baby is eight days old started around 37weeks, it does feel like morning sickness and I also found that sugar helped a little.
    WARNING WARNING TMI
I also had the stomach cramps, I thought that I was going to have the runs but when i got to the loo urgently it was normal consitency just lots. Sometimes just cramping though!!! Poppy came a week early so lasted around 2 weeks. Good luck, bubbie is'nt far away!!!!
