Well I have officially made it to the 3rd trimester I am so excited by this fact that I thought I would pop in and share some of my excitement around and see what hints and tips you all have in here LOL
Work ends for me in 2 weeks woo hoo
Antenatel classes start on Tuesday night
Got my Lovely Glucose test on Thursday Morning so that should be wonderful NOT
32 Week scan in a month to check on placenta previa state sure hope it has moved up a bit just so it aint level 4 and isnt gonna cause quite so much caution I can handle a low placenta but total covering cervix and having to knicker watch and be so careful is sometimes a pain considering I can't get most things ready in nursery as can't move too much that is not on wheels or bigger than a flipping bag of shopping LOL should just enjoy being pampered hey.
Another frustrating thing is I feel all these kicks and somersaults but every time I get DH to put his hand on my tummy he cant feel anything or the muchkin stops not happy jan LOL it must be a boy in there being so difficult hey. Any tips on getting hubby to feel his childs movements other than just lots of waiting I guess.
Anyway done some more shopping and got most of the basics and will now wait till after baby shower and see what goodies that brings then can see what else I shall need hey.
It is such a relief, hey? Exciting too...we started our antenatal classes last week...
I didn't find the GTT test TOO bad...sort of like flat lemonade...but it made me so sleepy!
All the best with your scan...I've got one at 34 weeks, I think! Hopefully the placenta has moved up for you...
I know what you mean about the baby's movements stopping as soon as you get someone to feel them...so frustrating! I find that early morning or late night seems to be the best time...in the mornings, I often lie up against DH in bed and he can feel the kicks through my belly...also, I have found that if I get him to talk to the baby in the morning (face on my belly), he will normally get a couple of kicks!
I find that just after dinner, have a really cold drink then hop into a nice warm bath. My bub flys around then, its great.
Also get hubby to leave his hand there for a while/ages. sometims I think they know there is a hand there (can feel it) and it scares them a bit, so if the hand is there for ages, then the bub can get used to it and starts behaving normally.
