Sounds like you're finally putting yourself first. Your boss seems very understanding, seems like your co-workers need to start pulling their own weight and leave the heavily pg lady alone. So enjoy your day off with your DD.

My boss just messaged to ask how I was feeling - told me of the system outage and that everyone was busy!
Do I feel guilty - yeah a little, but will I lose sleep - NO WAY!
They have to learn how to deal without me there anyway!

Well I'm officially finished - yay!!! Walked out just after 4pm on Friday. Got a bit teary with the speech my boss gave, but definitely feel like a weight has been lifted.
I think the little man was waiting for me to finish as I've been getting intense cramping on and off for 48 hours now.
