Hi Traylee
Your AFI is at the upper limit of normal but not at a dangerous level. Also I would expect that your AFI levels will start to fall over the next week or so. However your doctor may want to keep a closer eye on the AFI levels for the rest of your pregnancy.
im hoping so, the drs here arent very good and dont pay much attention so i am bit concerned but i have a antental check on mon so im gonna ask and also tell them i want more scans etc,
i havent heard back from my gd test which was taken a week ago, so im guessing thats not it,
but what about sugar, i read somewhere that could be it,
and i have been eating alot of suagry lollies, so im thinking maybe i should stop havig them lol
There are a few things that can cause an increase in AFI however at the moment yours is not too high. Lots of sugar is not good for anyone perhaps cut down a little on the lollies..... if you can
thats heaps for your help im glad i can kinda talk to someone, i was in tears with stress over it last night all these ppl saying there is 16.
but i think they said normal range is between 5 and 25 but im not sure.
im hopin it will go down, i will ask the hospital on mon and show them and tell them i want another scan in like a week or something to check.
sd ratio was 3.1 is that high or bout normal, does it drop as u get further along cause my daughters was 2 at 36 weeks
Hi Traylee
Your SD ratio should be below 3.5 so you are well within normal limits. I can't remember if it drops as your pregnancy progresses perhaps someone else can answer this part of the question
