Foetal heart beat skipping?

I just had my 32 week OB appointment and while he was listening to my little one's heart beat it was quite erratic and skipped beats a few times. Of course now I'm worried, even though my OB has told me not to stress and that he will check bubs heart rate/beat in two weeks ... does anyone know what this could mean?

I agree with Shannon
It is not really possable to check how regular your baby's heartrate is with a doppler

I had the same thing, but a bit earlier in my pg and the OBS sent me back in a week to get it checked again and it was fine, so I assume bubs was just being cheeky. If they were really concerned they would have sent you to a specialist to have it checked out. They told me that on the second visit that if the irregularity was still there, that they would refer me on, but lucky they didn't have to.
