Thanks guys..Yep I really hope she stays put just a few weeks longer at least. I know now for the next one to stop all work by 30 weeks just to be safe. I am not starting up again with Cara Mia (makeup) until end of July. It's hard turning people down but this is such a special time for us to spend with our girl when she is here.
I feel like the boy who cried wolf here, but i also don't want to leave it incase it is something.
I woke up this morning with constant intense period like cramps, the biggest difference this time is that i also have tightening at the same time. the ache is constant low in my groin, but then every 15 min or so i get such an intense pain i buckle over oh cry out it hurts so much. I managed to sleep for much of the day and then when DH came home tonight he has started to get really worried.
so we now have the stop watch out getting ready to start timing length and time between contractions.
I haven't had any more leaking and haven't had a show so i am hoping that is good.
freaking out again, that it could be almost time this time.
Oh hun
Don't feel as though you are crying wolf at all.
I think perhaps go in and get checked out to make sure that you are or are not contracting, but it sounds like they are contractions, especially with the pain theya re causing. BH shouldn't make you cry
With the timing just remember to time from when it starts, until when the next one starts. Mine started at 5 min appart and very quickly went to 3min.
Thank you... I have been feeling really uncomfortable and unable to sit still all day, just feeling really restless aside from when i slept. the pain was so bad this morning i just became exhausted within a couple of hours.
I am hoping this is just BH again. But hopefully over the next hour we might be able to track them a bit better and see how far apart they are.
Mrs Hendo, please please please pop into the maternity unit. They will be able to put you on a monitor and see if you are having contractions. After your previous symptoms you cannot afford to be worried about other people's reactions if this is a false alarm. Better safe than sorry. Please go and get checked out.
I think Beema and Jazahara have given some good advice, and i second their recommendation to not feel like you are the boy who cried wolf. better to be aware of your body and baby then try to troop through and internalise all that stress
i'd be giving your care provider/hospital a call regardless of whether the contractions are close or not.
I can't add anything, the other ladies have said it.... It's always better to get it checked out.
I am with you, I feel that it's better to speak out and it be nothing then say nothing and it be something!
Take care of yourself and tell us how you go.
I hope you got to the hospital and were checked out. I hope all is ok and your little bub is coming just yet. Sending lots of staying put vibes for the next 7wks. Your definately not crying wolf hun. hugs
