Definitely sounds like the waters to me too. When mine broke I only had a small amount come out. Hope everything goes well at the hospital! Thinking of you

thanks guys.. waiting to hear back from the hospital they have paged my Obstetrician to see if he wants me to go see him or see them. I am home alone today too. I haven't had much else leak out so i am thinking it's all probably ok. but still can't help but be a tad worried.

 have you got any pains at the moment?
-
i am having a few, but nothing like last night, it just feels like a constant ache at the moment. She is not moving her legs much but i can feel her head wriggling really low. I feel just really wet like lots of discharge. I feel like i have dropped suddenly since last night though, my bump suddenly seems tonnes smaller but then i realised it was just pointing downwards. Maybe this is just my body getting ready early?

 hun, let us know when you hear from your obs

Do you know the gestation that your hospital takes deliveries?
Mine was 36 weeks and I had to go to an alternative hospital. It has been a couple of hours I would be giving them another call, as you are showing a lot of signs of pre term labour and things can change quickly, I would be getting organised to go in, make sure you have a bag packed, by try to keep your walking around limited and when youa re finished keep your legs above your head, lying down on the couch, to take the pressure of your cervix
The dropping of your tummy definitely sounds like she has settled very low, the same happened to me after my waters broke, my labour progressed very quickly, and we had no warning, but as you have a little time as the pains have settled, I would be taking all the precautions, can someone come and be with you? Take care hun :comfort: xxoo
ETA: I don't mean to freak you out or cause worry, I have been there before and if I didn't progress so quickly there would have been a chance to stop labour and hopefully keep bubs inside for a couple more weeks, the extra time makes a big difference

thinking of you sweet!

Thanks Kitty!!! I am praying too...
Beema - yeah they won't accept me till 34 weeks.. grrrrr but i am heading off to the hosp now to get checked out....
Hopefully it was just a gush of discharge.. don't know why it made a popping sound though...hmmmm

well I am back from the hospital for now. because i changed my pad right before i left and forgot to take my undies up they can't do much now. They monitored bub for a bit and she was doing well.. I am not really having contractions so thats a good sign too..
What confuses everyone is the pop.. i have never heard or felt anything like what happened this morning.
I have been told to monitor my fluids carefully over the next 24 hours and if it increases again to go straight up to hosp to be checked. They didn't do an internal so i guess thats a good sign.
My OB was in theatre so they are still waiting to hear back from him.. My poor DH he just got my message and rang me soo freaked out. I am feeling calm though and not stressing, i'm 5 minutes from the hosp if needed.
Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. The hardest part now is still not knowing what it was and just having to wait and see if i get anymore gushes.
