    Glucose Drink

I had my GTT today and couldnt believe how nice the drink was!! So much better than the green one I remember - this one I had today tasted just like lemonade. I was so thirsty after having fasted since the night before I could have drank 3 ottles of the stuff

Anyone not like the drink or have a bad reaction?

Nup! I thought it was disgusting! I'm not a huge fan of sugar myself, & to me it was pretty much just a straight sugar syrup. I had to force it in & hold it in...wasn't fun!

I loved the drink and ended up craving it for the rest of my pregnancy. Lemonaid just wouldn't cure the craving.

The midwife didnt say I needed to, just that I cant have any sugar or refined foods - and I was really looking forward to going to the pancake parlour for my birthday on Saturday night....
