Have been told (and they swear by it) that a good indication of when you will go into labour is adding 20 weeks from when you first felt movements from bub. So if first movements was at 19 weeks, then you should expect around the 39 week mark.
Just wondering from those who have had bublets whether this is an indication or not.
No, never heard this one. Wouldn't think it would hold true (well, perhaps it would if average for feeling first kicks is 18 to 20 weeks in which case it would anyway and would be a total fallacy because it would have to be true in the majority of cases)
I had first kicks at 16 weeks, and big NO, DS was not born prem!!!
i havent heard it before, and going by what the others have said it doesnt seem to be true . I personally felt first kicks at about 18 or 19 weeks and she was born at 38.5 weeks. I think just a coincidence though.
With the twins I felt the first kicks at about 16 weeks and they were born at 33 weeks 4 days.
I also don't think its true.
Wish it was true then I could have stayed in my home town to have them instead of
400km away.

first time round i felt movement from 14weeks and had jelly at 39weeks. this time i have been feeling significant movement since around 10 weeks and there is no way i am going into labour at 30 weeks pregnant - i just refuse too!!
think it may b an old wives tale wasnt the case for me kenzee kicked at 20 weeks ans i went into labour for the first time a 22 weeks so for us it ws no where near that way
