Question Is vomiting an early labour sign?

I had a bit of an ordinary night, just wasn't feeling right. I haven't been sleeping much in general but last night was strange. The baby was doing some strange movements before I went to bed and I had some general tummy tightness which I've been getting on and off for a few weeks now. I went to the toilet about a zillion times overnight, I generally have been going lots and lots but last night was ridiculous. My pee was also a strange colour, really lime coloured and then just clear as anything. Previously it's been really yellow lately - sorry for TMI!! Anyway this morning I woke up throwing up, probably about 4 times. I'm super thirsty too. Do you think I have some sort of bug or it's just MS or maybe a sign labour is on the way? I'm really hoping to go into labour naturally to prove to myself my body can work the way it's supposed to so I'm looking for any signs but probably clutching at straws. I had acupuncture on Wednesday and have another session tonight.

I got really vomitty too just before i had my DD. Try and rest just in case labour is not too far away. GL xoxox

I vomit right before the contractions ramp up, it happened with all three.

Yay! That's what I was hoping you would say. Maybe I'll just keep thinking it's a sign and then trick my body into actually doing what it's supposed to do. hee hee

I'm still feeling really naseous and having some tummy tightness but nothing major at all. I've been drinking heaps of water though and just managed to eat an orange (first food today.) I'm going to wait an hour or so and try and eat a sandwich too. I just feel strange..........I can't put my finger on it. And somehow I have a sore cheek bone too - I even went and looked in the mirror to see if it was bruised! Man I'm a whinger - LOL

Thanks so much everyone. I'm still feeling really nauseous so I'm a bit worried it's a tummy bug. I've only been able to get 1 orange and some water down all day. I'm going to try some juice soon and see how we go. Strangely enough - my wee was so concentrated today and I've basically eaten nothing and drunk probably 1.5 litres of water (don't want to get dehydrated.)

Thanks Nutter, I ate a toasted cheese sandwich and drank some juice and so far so good! I still feel blergh but I'm okay. BH have ramped up after my acupuncture this arv too, I am so wishing this baby would try and come - I really want to know my body works before I run out of time. The Ob has indicated that he won't induce as I am VBAC which I am fine with but his preference was 39 weeks and then CS. We said we wanted to wait until 40 weeks to see if I go into labour but either way, now would be fine too!!
