    Hand pain

Has anyone else experienced this? Over the last few days I've had sore hands. Sort of like achy joints when I'm doing anything with my hands.

Thinking it may just be a result of the relaxin hormone...? Does anyone know if it gets stronger towards the end of pregnancy?

It can be quite common to get sore hands or even carpal tunnel syndrome whilst pregnant and during the first few months post partum. If it's not to bad, by a brace for your wrists/hands at the chemist. If it gets worse - off to the physio! Good luck

I had carpal tunnel syndrome in one of my wrists for quite a long time in my pregnancy - it is apparently quite common.

Hope your OB can help with the pain.

In my third trimester I started getting joint pain in both my hands. It was worse in the early morning (as in 3amish) and when I woke up. As the day progressed the pain eased. I also had a little carpel tunnel in both my wrists too. That lasted until just a few weeks ago. My DS is now 15 weeks old. I remember the joint pain in my hands on the day I went into labour but I don't remember it at all once DS was born. Hope it doesn't get too bad for you.
