because I was admitted to hospital yesterday because I had vomiting and a squirty bottom. They put me on a saline drip, gave me maxolon and buscopan and I spent pretty much all of my first wedding anniversary in hospital.
I'm slowly recovering today and am really hungry but am just eating dry bread and had half a banana which thankfully have stayed down. I'm keeping my fluids up but ugggh...it's amazing how much vomiting can make your body hurt the next day.
You poor thing mrsr - I'm finding that sneezing hurts in late pregnancy, can't imagine what vomiting would feel like. You must be feeling so tender and sore, I hope that bubba is going easy on mum today and not too many kicks in the ribs.
Congratulations on your anniversary - sorry you had to spend it feeling so yuk.
I am so "over" everything.
My 4th wedding anniversary was 2 weeks ago - and my parents took our 1yo so we could do something 'special'. But DH & I had to do stuff... and so we spent the night Tiling & Grouting our kitchen floor! - and keeping in mind, I was 36 weeks pregnant at that time.. lol.
And for the last couple of weeks, I've been vomitting in the mornings. Or 'dry reaching' because there's no food in my stomach that early. I had 16 weeks of morning sickness... so I'm not keen on getting it again!
And my feet have blown up like watermelons - and I can't wear any shoes.. not even thongs. They are so swollen that it really aches to walk.
I've got exactly 1 week to go. In fact this time next Monday - I'll be all prepped up to have a c/s. I am soooo looking forward to spending 3-4 days in hospital!!!! I need to rest!
Ooopps... I just had a big whinge about my life. And you have been suffering. I hope the bug goes soon, and maybe you could have a belated wedding anniversary?
wishing you all the best.
I'm feeling ya on the wedding anniversay! We had simular thing happen, not being able to travel further than 15 mind from hospital. And even wedding night i ended up in hospital with a dislocated knee. So were having a belated honeymoon and anniversay all in one once bubba is here. Maybe you can do the same darl.
Hoping the tummy and bottom is being a little better today.... there is nothing worse than having both ends... it's bad enough with just one!
Sorry to hijack your post, but is it common to feel a bit 'upchucky' late in your third trimester? I didn't know this, and have been feeling more that a bit queasy lately! I thought it was just me and food.....
Hi, thanks for the well wishes. I've kept down a small steak I had for dinner...so all is well so far! I was starving today! Thankfully, I've made a speedy recovery!
